I’m Back! sort of…

This is going to be a long one. twss
It’s been too long without an update. That I will always admit. But, to say that I’ve been busy would be an understatement. Now that the new sales rep at work is getting into the swing of things I’m being kept pretty damn busy all day long. Usually I’ll have a few minutes while waiting for a job to finish RIPing on my workstation where I can turn to my laptop and post news, a video, or some nonsense that’s quick. But it’s gotten to the point where I have to multitask all day long in order to keep up with all the jobs that are pouring in. I’m not necessarily complaining, but a little breathing room would be nice once in a while.
Luckily it looks like that time will be coming up, but not before it gets even crazier! So with that said, I’m predicting that regular updates won’t resume until next week. Even then I may not have the free time to blog, but I’m trying to make an effort in keeping the site somewhat updated with new content.
One thing that I have been able to keep updating on a somewhat regular basis is my Flickr photos. If you haven’t noticed, I’ve added a widget to the right-hand sidebar that updates with my latest photos on Flickr. I’ve developed a pretty good work flow for uploading photos to the site and I plan to keep updating whenever I connect my camera to the computer. So keep an eye on that if you want something else to keep you entertained while sitting in front of your computer.
So Lily & Felix got married this past weekend. GRATS!
I spent the weekend with the family at the hotel where the wedding reception was being held to take a quick break from reality. There was drinking, relaxing, and good times to be had all weekend long. Naturally I took along my camera to capture some still frames of life. I took a few photos in Black and White which is something that I haven’t done since my first semester in FSU. I’ve always been a fan of B&W photography, but usually steer away from it when shooting with a digital camera for some reason. I think I’ll have to remedy this phenomena because I pretty much loved all the B&W photos I took. You can visit the photoset and view all of the photos from the weekend by clicking here. Below I’ve posted a few of my favorites. The high quality versions of these photos are available on my Flickr site. GO THERE!
I’ll be in Texas this weekend for another wedding. So expect to see some photos fromt that adventure soon!
