Went for a bike ride on Sunday and decided to take my camera with me to test out it’s durability and how it handles “on the field”. Uploaded a few of the photos to my flickr for your viewing pleasure.
One thing I did notice about the camera is that it produces images that have a “smooth” look to them. I didn’t really notice this with the old Canon I used until I went back and really inspected the photos. It’s nothing bad, the camera performed better that I had hoped, but it’s just something I notice when compared to the Nikon D-70 shots I had taken last week.
I also learned that I should plan to be on the light sources’ side of the subject before setting-up. The train I chased down taught me this since I was shooting against the light in all of those photos. Live and Learn.
