Work had been slowing down towards the end of 2008. This was to be expected since people go on vacation, the county refuses to work (more than usual), and the holidays are a crazy time for everyone in general.
The good news was that I finally had time to complete the design for the stores installation van. It was a long process to get a simple theme while still making it eye-catching to everyone that sees it. I think it’s successful in that sense. We’ve already gotten several comments about it so that’s nice.
We also tried a new method of installing where instead of printing 4 small vertical panels and stitching them together I printed two 52″ x 130″ horizontal panels. The result is a much “cleaner” and seamless appearance, but it also took some careful measuring and attention to detail to prevent any warping since it was a much bigger piece of vinyl.
