When In Rome: The Pantheon
Dec 28th, 2009 by Chris
LOOK AT IT LARGER!
The Pantheon. This 2,000 year old building is one of the oldest standing buildings in Rome. I’ve only read about this building and seen it in my art history books. Seeing this in person is impressive. I shot some photos of the interior dome because the Oculus at the center is as equally impressive as the outside.
The first two kings of Italy are buried inside this building and the artist Rafael is also buried inside.
I apologize for the dirty photo, but I’m not really spending too much cleaning them up. We are back in Andrew’s apartment to take a short break before we Rome the city (see what I did there?) for some night sights and dinner

Dirty photo? “what do you mean?” It looks amazing!!! I love the “old feel” the photo has. Better than any postcard I’ve seen. Good job Chris!!! So happy you’re enjoying your trip. Te quiero mucho.
