2012 Olimpics

Edit: Found this small bit from a BBC article about an animation that was accompanying the logo when it was first made public.
From a BBC article:
A segment of animated footage promoting the 2012 Olympic Games has been removed from the organizers’ website after fears it could trigger epileptic fits.
Prof Graham Harding, who developed the test used to measure photo-sensitivity levels in TV material, said it should not be broadcast again.
Charity Epilepsy Action said it had received calls from people who had suffered fits after seeing it.
And:
Emphasizing that it was not the logo itself which was the focus of worries, she (A London 2012 spokeswoman) said: “This concerns a short piece of animation which we used as part of the logo launch event and not the actual logo.â€
I present to you the logo for the 2012 Olympics. After seeing this I’ve realized that there’s hope for young designers like me out there after all. Rejoice in the terrible design of this work.
