It was a cold and blustery day in Madrid. The snow never let up and there were several cases of trench-foot among the troops. But we pressed on and took a tour of the Royal Palace and saw a slew of other things that left us impressed.

No photos because I have no time to upload, but we saw a lot considering the time we had available here. And also the fact that we thought we were lost at least 5 times driving from the airport to Barcelona. Tomorrow morning we drive to Valencia early in the morning!

I’ve always wanted to photograph a winter sunset. The Sun always puts on a pretty good show no matter what part of the world you are in. Luckily were were treated to clear skies and were able to watch until the end.
