06/03/05 Update to Version 1.2 w00t
I'm almost done with Episode 19, but I'm still going to wait until Monday to post it. Sorry you'll just have to wait. I like to stay ahead of the game either way.

So I thought that I was done with this site for a while, but apparently I am not. With the disappearing act that the Photo Gallery pulled off this past week I was forced to re-design it completely. And The Sphnxx made me aware of something that I've been avoiding ever since I designed the site: There is no way to visit past episode aside from the Calendar and the Comics section of the site.
So I've added a new navigation bar right under the comic. Now all of the comic links will take you to their very own index page with a post entry for that Episode. If you don't know what I am talking about just go to the comics page and click on an episode. You'll see.
Also because I've decided to do this, most of the posts are two lines because I can't possibly remember what I wrote for that Specific day. But from now on my post will remain intact with the corresponding comic.

This update merits it's very own number so that's quite an updates in just a week's time.

As with any major update, please let me know if I broke anything in the process of upgrading the site.

A new gallery will be available next week. For now I will retire. It's 4:34 am right now and I want to sleep.

06/02/05 Episode 18
Just wanted to get the comic and the updated version of the site up and posted before I get another threatening email.
Version 1.1 by the way.

Ah this has been a long time coming. Just for those that are curious: Jeff does not live with us anymore, but some of the stories were too good to miss. So now I am introducing him while still writing about current events. It's a little confusing, but I think we will get some interesting results.
His profile has been added to the Cast page.

Kudos to anyone that can tell me what Adrian's shirt says. Call it an Easter Egg.

So, I don't know what the crap happened, but for some reason beyond me, the photo gallery has been wiped off of the site. Pissed? Yes I am. It took me the better part of the day to weed through my photo library and select and resize all of the images for that part of the gallery. Not to mention all of the code that had to go the site. So for now, if you haven't seen the pictures yet, tough shit.
This may be a good thing though. I've wanted to redo the gallery and throw in some comments about my work. So I guess now I have an excuse to do all of that.

On Tuesday I decided it was time to reformat this space where I post my thoughts and all the other crap that follows every update. The difference is probably insignificant to you all, but for me, it is a godsend. I was trying to decide whether or not my time spend was worth it and I have concluded that yes it was.
It took me 3 hours to redo this area. Mostly for functionality. Web-design can be a bitch at times. I had to re-read a chapter from a dreamweaver book I used at Miami-Dade on Dreamweaver. I learned a lot from the chapter, but like all the other problems I've had with the site, this one had to be resolved by improvisation.

Also worthy of mentioning: I've been getting several emails regarding the status of the comic on a weekly basis. Up until now I've been answering all of the emails that I receive, but to make my life easier and perhaps your's as well, I've added the Next Episode Progress Tracker. You'll noticed it has filled in that empty space that hung out on the left of the screen. I've been meaning to fill-up that space anyway so this gave me a good reason to do it. I will be updating that region as soon as I finish a stage of the comic creation process.
And now you can find out how far I am with the comic just by checking the site. No need for those one line emails asking me how far along the comic is. Any other question emails are still welcome.

A big change has taken place in Dan's life and that will affect the way that I draw the comic each week. Big news. You probably wont see any changes until Episode 20 though.

I have changed the way that I will be posting Blogs. With the redesign of this area I've decided to just designate a certain area of the site for my Weblogs and such. Since most of these posts contain comments about the comics of the week I'll probably link from here and the comic page. No big deal, just going to change the template of the current Blog. I want to steer away from the "generic look" and get something that is similar to the design of this site.

Google has decided to finally crawl through this site. If you type "Mango and Peaches" in the search field there this site should come out as one of the top hits. About time too.

Adrian asked me about this today and I will remind you all as well: I will be on vacation far, far, away starting the 18th of this month. I will be gone for an entire week. So naturally there will be no updates that week. So sorry. I will, however, be taking my sketchpad and drawing while sitting on the beach or while hanging out at night. So when I get back I will be scanning in and uploading the drawings that I did. I probably wont color them, so it'll be a little different. I also be updating the all week long after that. So you might see a new comic/sketch every other day for that week.
I'll probably upload some pictures of our shenanigans of there.

New music which has taken over my playlist in iTunes: Seether, Gorillaz, Limp Bizkit, and Beck. All very good shit. Tortoise is still the highest rank on my list though. I've become quite the fan of Post-Rock.
But what stands out the most for me is the new 30 Seconds to Mars Album. Wow. Amazing and powerful music. I've been listening to it non-stop for the past two days. Check out my link, it's worth visiting their site to get a sample of their music.

Been playing this game with my homies lately, I remain undefeated. :)
