Episode 89 09/07/06
Managing all these sites is hard work.
An inside joke essentially. Arguably the funniest thing I have ever heard was a single word that Angee said in Vincam (the High School Newspaper Class) our senior year. What pisses everyone off, is that even though we laughed our asses off we can't remember what the word was. To this day, we listen closely to the words Angee speaks hoping that one day he will say it again. He's probably said it countless times in front of us, we're just too stupid to realize it.
It might also be that we can't understand what the fuck he's saying too.
This Episode is more like a preview of things to come. The next few comics will focus on Myself and my good friend Angee. Two struggling artists trying to find their place in a private school where, at the time, art students were considered "in denial" about what they really wanted to do.
I assure you Both Angee and I knew exactly what we wanted to do. Well I wouldn't say exactly. I think we both started in the computer animation field, but later moved to our true calling. Angee is currently painting and doing what he loves and I moved more towards graphic design and Illustration (the reason I'm always cartooning). Whether we like to admit it or not, our time in high school and our friends influenced our artwork on a personal and subconscious level.
People think I'm messing around when I talk about this, but I assure you it's all true. Any 'true' artist would tell you the same. Everything you do and everyone you meet will affect you in some way or another.
What will follow are a few stories of our struggle with the arts, our teachers, Friends, and each other. I say each other because sharing the same schedule and friends with someone will make you sick of that person. We had to learn to live with each other.
And by the time you'll read this it will be September the 8th.
Happy Birthday Nick.
